This week we had a small opening ceremony for our Ambassador Allotment project. Each class received a starter pack with some tools seeds and watering cans ready for them to start their own project.  The children absolutely loved it which made this project totally worthwhile. We could not have accomplished this achievement without all the donations so we would like to thank the following:

Misbourne Rotary club
CR Grounds Maintenance
Councillor Roger Reed
Speedy Hire – Tony Green
Local community member James Foraye
Local community member Faraz Baber
All the donations bought into the office
Parents/Carers who came in to help filling each allotment with soil
Mrs Debbie Smith – painting all the signposts for each class

Finally, our biggest helper Mr Mark Squire. Despite his own work and everything he already does for the school Mr Squire has been phenomenal. From designing the layouts, ordering the right equipment, grafting all the hard work, to making sure we got this finished, we cannot thank you enough.

We shall keep you all posted from September how the classes are getting on with growing their vegetables and we welcome any donations you may wish to send in with your child i.e seeds, gloves, watering cans etc.

Many thanks
