Following our recent OFSTED inspection at the beginning of October, we finally have the published report. When OFSTED inspect a school, they look at a range of evidence under five main sections:
The Quality of Education; Behaviour and Attitudes; Personal Development; Leadership and Management and Early Years.
Each section is then graded as either Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement or Inadequate.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that our recent inspection graded all 5 of these areas of the Academy as ‘Good’, with the Academy having a grading of ‘Good’ overall. We are all so incredibly proud of this outcome, as it really recognises all of the hard work that has gone on since the last inspection (which was back before Covid was a thing!).
The first line of the report I really think says it all:
‘Pupils love their school. They are enthusiastic about their lessons and learning’.
The report reads incredibly positively, whilst also still recognising some areas we can still develop, but I really want to thank all of the pupils and also all of the staff for everything they do; the report is a reflection of the incredible team we have here, and I am feeling incredibly proud of the outcome we secured.
