We aim for our curriculum to be as inspiring, enriching and enjoyable as possible for all our pupils.
We are passionate about learning and try to make our curriculum as practical and hands on as possible as we believe children learn better when they are immersed in what they are doing. Our curriculum is exciting, broad and balanced across all subjects whilst focusing on the teaching of core skills and knowledge.
Learning doesn’t only happen in the academy building. Each term every year group either goes on an off-site visit or has an outside visitor in to bring learning to life. In addition to this Year 6 pupils go on a residential where they take part in a wide range of cross-curricular activities. Learning through educational visits and visitors means that children are more engaged and are inspired to learn.
